Dental Implants

Dental implants are designed to provide a strong foundation for replacement teeth. These new teeth look, feel and perform just like a regular tooth.

Snoring & sleep apnea

With the National Sleep Foundation estimating that up to half of the U.S. population snores, it might seem like something too normal to be worth mentioning to a doctor.

Lake Oswego, Oregon dentist: All the services your family needs for beautiful, healthy smiles under one roof

We at Westlake Family Dentistry are privileged to be your destination in Lake Oswego, Oregon for advanced dentistry, delivered in a kind, caring, and non-judgmental way – all within a warm and inviting setting. Dr. Brad Sievert has invested in top-notch technology, training, and technology. Altogether, these attributes facilitate a convenient, comfortable experience and support lasting oral health and wellbeing.

All the services you need – under one roof!

Dr. Sievert has numerous certifications and professional designations, which demonstrate his sophisticated skills and expertise. A Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, he has the knowledge and equipment to strategically place dental implants in the jaw. These artificial “tooth roots” stabilize replacement teeth, such as crowns and dentures. Since they are designed like a natural tooth (from the “root upward”), implant-retained crowns, bridges, and dentures are the “gold standard” in tooth replacement. Other dentists, however, are only equipped to “restore” the implant; they do not have the capabilities on-site to place implants.

Patients have peace of mind. Families can remain with the practice they know and trust without being referred out to unfamiliar specialists for costly care that is not suited to their schedule or budget.

In addition to implants, our in-house capabilities span a wide range of state-of-the-art, comprehensive services, such as:

  • Complex restorative dentistry to rebuild attractive, functional smiles
  • Oral surgical care, including extractions
  • Root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures to “save” badly damaged teeth
  • Interceptive orthodontic care and proactive treatment of pediatric sleep-disordered breathing via the Healthy Start System™
  • Alternatives to conventional orthodontic treatment, including Invisalign®
  • Occlusal night guards, custom mouthguards, and other oral appliance therapy
  • Preventive dental sealants and fluoride supplementation
  • Multi-faceted sleep apnea and snoring therapy
  • Periodontal therapy and maintenance
  • Cosmetic dentistry, from professional teeth whitening to life-like porcelain veneers
  • Durable and natural-looking restorative dentistry, from tooth-colored fillings to porcelain crowns
  • And much more!

Westlake Family Dentistry also stands out with its diagnostic technologies; for instance, we use DIAGNOdent™ laser cavity detection to pinpoint early-stage decay. Early detection supports early intervention. We can easily and efficiently resolve problems such as enamel erosion before they cause pain and damage that requires restorative care.

We also use digital impressions (X-rays) associated with up to 80 to 90% less radiation exposure than their traditional, film-based counterparts. Intraoral cameras further aid in our ability to gently and non-invasively pinpoint early decay, gum inflammation, and other abnormalities. They produce clear images of the teeth, gums, and other oral structures.

Dr. Sievert offers options to keep patients comfortable during their dental appointments. Patients with anxiety or fear about visiting the dentist can relax with nitrous oxide (laughing gas) or oral conscious sedation (sedative pills) options. And, if fear over the dental bill is what keeps you up at night, be sure to ask us about flexible payment plans through CareCredit® or Compassionate Finance™.

For now, schedule an appointment by calling (503) 386-4164. We look forward to meeting you and your family!
